June 27th - Now We Leave

Good morning on our last day in Brazil. We are waiting at the hotel for our bus to arrive, it was supposed to be here 15 minutes ago. We are doing a couple of touristy things - going to Sugar Loaf mountain (definitly worth looking up online if you don't know what it is) and to a market to buy sourvenirs and trinkets and such. And then a late lunch. At least that is what I understand. This will be the last post until we land in Charlotte tomorrow at 6 am ET. I'll let you know when we do land. Please continue to pray for us as we travel, I'm hoping and praying for a better experience than we had last year. Just a reminder our flights are US Airways 801 and US Airways 3283. We land in KC tomorrow at 9:30 and then drive back to Omaha. Have a great day, we'll talk to you again from Charlotte.

    From the Van Liew family: The Blog has been WONDERFUL!! Thank you so much for keeping all of us up to date on ministry.
    We will continue to pray for you as you arrive back in the US. It is always an adjustment to fit back into the routine of things here. We know that the Lord will continue to bless you and those to whom you ministered. He will bless His work in Brazil!
    We are praying for rest tonight and enough energy for tomorrow.

    When you are at the NC airport could you give us a call around 6:00 a.m. our time? Terry & I are wondering if you're going to need us to bring a small trailer for some of your luggage? We have one ready to take...but will leave it at the church if you don't think we'll need it.
