June 22 - This One is For Becca and Kayla
Hey just wanted you two to know that we are really missing you both this year. We are constantly talking about you (or at least those of us who were here last year) and how we wish you were here again this year. Why didn't you come? Is it too strong a thing to say that it is unforgivable? Ok, I'm joking on that, but seriously we miss you both, it's not the same. We hope things are going well for you back in the States. Ok, I better go, Ryan, Andrew and Jon are crying because they remembered you two aren't here....so sad. ; )

ReplyDeletePraying for you guys so much of the time. I'm sure I speak for all of us on this side, we hang on every word of the posts, and check the blog an insane amount of times a day. Thank you so much for staying in touch and allowing us to experience a taste of what's happening.

ReplyDeleteWe had wonderful time last night as parents praying for the Brazil team. We prayed for every aspect of your trip, including physical, spiritual, and unity.
Every time I think of you and the Brazil team I send up a prayer, the length varies. I kind of think that is what Paul was talking about when he said we should pray without ceasing. Having an attitude of prayer and dependence upon the Lord.
We are going to Central City today to see Grandma and Grandpa. Grandma's Alzheimer’s is causing her to go downhill fairly quickly.
Pray for her, and Grandpa was well. Take care and God Bless.

all is well in gaspar. it is our second day in the school and we have taught in around 30 classes. it is awesome to see how God works. we have been teaching them about the united states and how much we love God, we miss everyone in rio do sul and massaranduba and laranchino or whatever but praying everything is going smoothly there and God is working in mighty ways. we are leading a church service tonight and tomorrow so keep that in your prayers. we are sitting here writing this as we watch the US play soccer. pray for our strength as everyone is beginning to become tired and weary. we miss you all and will be praying for everyone else on our team

Well, I haven't been able to get online for a couple days, so I only saw this this morning when I got on. I miss you guys too, and sit in my room with a box of tissues and a bar of chocolate every night (that's how girls are supposed to deal with sadness, right?) Well its not working, cuz I'm still sad.
