Alek's First Day

Today was a very busy day, we got to see a lot of new and old faces and we spent the day planning out the next few weeks and what pastor johnny is expecting out of us. Relationships and preparation are going to be what we will be doing, preparation for when the level 2 team arrives and building stronger relationships with the people in the church. We will also be going out to schools in rio and surrounding cities to meet with teachers and administrators telling them what we have planned for when the level 2 team arrives, also going around and making phone calls inviting people to the english camp. We are having a great time and we miss everyone at home. Keep us in your prayers.

  2. I actually prayed that once you were in your host homes that you would get a GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP! Thanks for posting so faithfully. It sounds like you will get to see maybe more of what the day to day responsibilities are for ministry...exciting!

I continue to pray that you would have a supernatural affinity for the language...that it wouldn't be a barrier.

Love you all! (hugs to Our son, Roy!)

  3. Love the thought that you guys are God's workmanship, created in Christ to do good works, which He has already prepared in advance for you to do in Brazil. (Eph. 2:10)

Stay close and sensitive to the Spirit, so you can listen and obey, God will reveal the next good work for you to do. Praying this for each of you this morning!
