I forgot...

I forgot to mention this last night. Joel Stayed behind last night with Liz because he has a kidney stone and she took him to the hospital. They came in about midnight last night and he's doing well. Just waiting for it to pass. He flies out tonight. Pray for him...bw

  6. WOW...we had no idea when we (the missions committee) was praying for the Brazil team this morning that Joel was going through this ordeal! Certain Dale didn't know anything either. Praying for you Joel.

Team...you were prayed over this morning by the entire missions committee. We determined that we would very much like each of the teams (Mexico too) to have not only a time in church service...but hopefully also an evening service at church with more time to share. Please be praying about this.

For now...praying for your many hours of travel ahead of you. Love you all...

See you soon...Jon...what are you hungry for? Almond chicken???

  8. Team Brazil!

You are gold! You are finishing the race...strong! Praise God.

Lord, please extend your mighty arms around Team Brazil, as they travel home. We all miss them so much and long to wrap our earthly arms around them soon. Lord, keep you hand on the planes, pilots, airport workers, tickets, vans, and especially our kids. And thank you for allowing them to do your work.

Lord we boldly ask for healing and comfort for Joel. Let his flight home be uneventful...unless the event is passing that stone! But being sick or in pain on a plane is the pits, so I ask you to lay your healing hand on Joel and let him rest as her travels.

We praise you for all you have done and all you continue to do in these kids' lives.

    Amen.

Madison. I can't wait to see you. To wait another day is painful. I am struggling with the fruit of patience. Imagine that. Padre, Muchacha and Goosie's arms are open.

    We love you so much.

    Go Team Brazil!

How about hamburgers with peas and corn in them!? God's blessing upon you and everyone as you make the journey back home...love you so much....mom (dad and Jesse, too!...and Nate and Aaron!...and g-ma and K-dog!!!)

  10. Well, you guys are coming home to a heat wave, so get your shorts and sandals out and put away the jackets! It will near (if not reach)100 degrees today and tomorrow with the heat index possibly nearing 105-110 because of the humidity. Quite a change from what it sounds like you have been experiencing. You will probably wish for that ice cold waterfall to jump into.

I am also counting the minutes until you arrive tomorrow morning. I can't believe only one more day! Have a safe and hopefully restful trip home. We love you sooooo much!

  11. Joel, wow, kidney stones? While away from home? Been there done that. Ouch. I am DEFINATELY praying that you do not have another attack again and that this passes quickly...God's Speed man.

Alek, hope this finds you still healthy. I am back to work after a week in WI. Hey there are tons of pics. I shaved my beard to look like Wolverine yesterday. Check it on facebook in my mobile pics. HA!

Have a great time with everyone revelling in your trip and I look forward to seeing ya in the morning.

As I write, I bet you will not see this until after you get back and in fact may already be travelling.

Anyway, we are praying for your safe return. I love you Alek.

    Dad.
